Document Submission
With few exceptions, as noted in the "Apply To" column below, applicants must submit most forms and documentation to Student Business Services.
Waivers/Exemptions
Listed below are waivers and exemptions processed through the University, along with eligibility requirements and instructions to apply. Eligible students are responsible for applying for the waiver or exemption and ensuring the waiver or exemption has been applied toward tuition and fees for the current semester. Students are responsible for payment of tuition and fees not covered under the waiver or exemption. They are subject to late payment penalties and registration charges if tuition and fees are unpaid.
Exemptions
Exemptions allow special groups of Texas residents or non-residents to enroll and pay reduced tuition and/or fees.
TEC Citation: The citation for the exemption or waiver in the Texas Education Code .

Unless the exemption or waiver is exempt from SB 1210, the student must meet the University's financial aid GPA minimum for Satisfactory Academic Progress and must not have excess credit hours at the beginning of the semester to continue to receive an exemption or waiver.
Texas Resident: All exemptions follow the state’s definition for determining Texas resident status. Please review TEC 54.052 for the state’s definition.
